Description
Rainbow USA, Inc. is a dynamic, fast growing juniors retail company based in Brooklyn, NY. We currently have approx 1000 stores in 39 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. We are looking for a corporate Visual Merchandising Manager based at our Home Office who will visit stores and train managers on corporate presentation standards.
This position will be responsible for the following:
1. Training of store personnel on visual presentation standards, by conducting in-store workshops throughout the country and through office generated communications.
2. Will partner with field management and personnel on travel/training schedules.
3. Updating and maintaining the Visual Merchandising Standards Manual.
4. Communicating weekly Visual presentation changes or updates via e-mail or print to stores.
5. Working closely with the Merchandising/buying department on seasonal floorsets.
6. Working closely with the Director of Visual Merchandising on seasonal marketing materials, from concept to completion, including coordinating and styling of photo-shoots for in-store photography.
7. Some purchasing responsibility for visual props, fixturing etc.
This is a great position for a store visual person who is ready to make the next step into the corporate world or for a corporate manager in a small company who wants the exposure in a 1000 store chain.
Requirements
The successful person must be a hands-on merchant who can show as much as teach. They must also have knowledge of Adobe Photo-shop and Illustrator, minimum 5 years experience in retail visual merchandising and the ability to travel 40% of the time, across the country and to stores locally. Of course, they must be creative and energetic too. This is a great opportunity for growth in a challenging and unique specialty store environment.
